Apple has officially announced their first event in 2026 called “Special Apple Experience” on March 4th. It is speculated that Apple will launch several new devices during the event including a budget-friendly MacBook, iPhone 17e, and the latest generation iPad. The most anticipated might be the budget-friendly MacBook which is rumored to come with the A18 Pro chipset used in the iPhone 16 Pro, priced below USD 1,000.
In addition, Apple is also said to be updating the MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max chipsets, while the MacBook Air will be powered by the standard M5 chipset. The specifications and design are predicted to remain unchanged from the previous generation.
Another exciting release is the iPhone 17e, Apple’s affordable smartphone option succeeding the iPhone 16e. It is speculated to come with upgrades including the A19 chipset, OLED display with Dynamic Island design, improved front camera, and MagSafe support.
Other possible announcements include the new generation iPad. The basic iPad will upgrade to the A18 chipset from the previous A16, and there is also an iPad Air that will be powered by the M4 chipset from the previous M3.
The “Special Apple Experience” will be held simultaneously in New York, London, and Shanghai. There is no information about a livestream, so the event may only be attended offline by journalists and direct visitors.
